THE TRUTH CANNOT BE HIDDEN – Srebrenica 1995-2025 This is one mans story of his escape from genocide, surviving against evil and nature and his message to the world. After a daring escape from a firing squad, Kadir Habibovic is lost in the woods on the brink of death. He climbs to the top of Mount Udrch and in a miraculous moment, he hears a voice calling him… An incredible true story of survival, July 1995, Bosnia. Those who committed evil and genocide in Bosnia from 1992 to 1995 are trying to cover up these evils or openly deny genocide in Srebrenica. Many surviving witnesses of the war time in Bosnia have remained silent, only those with courage have dared to speak out and write about their ordeal. One of them is Kadir Habibović, born in Srebrenica, and he is a key witness of the tragedy of Srebrenica. All the horror of Srebrenica Kadir Habibovic watched and painful memories forced him to write a book Life Against Death: Srebrenica. By reading his book, I thought about the greatest depths of consciousness of the human race, which makes huge crimes and kills other people. Another important motif that was tied to Kadirs book was his confession. The way of telling this amazing story seems like a modern horror movie where Kadir is a real hero – because he just survived a massacre in Srebrenica and he brought out the book, his duty to the public.
